AEO Certification
On 21st November 2011 Webac GmbH received AEO certification. This certification is carried out by the German customs administration and is granted to companies that meet especially high safety standards in dealing with customers in international commerce.
With increasing globalisation and cross-border exchange of goods, security of the international supply chain has gained a special importance. For this reason the world customs organisation developed binding standards for worldwide commerce. Among other things the European Union reacted to this by introducing the AEO certificate. In international business AEO stands for "Authorised Economic Operator".
We are proud that we could successfully complete the strenuous process and thank all the employees who took part in the process. The advantages of certification of AEO status are that we fulfil the high safety-relevant requirements of customs while, at the same time, we receive confirmation that we are an especially reliable and trustworthy partner in the international trade of goods.
